Institution Description
Sun Valley is the original destination ski resort. Generations of sophisticated outdoor enthusiasts have flocked to our mountains to enjoy endless sunshine, bluebird days, and an always-evolving list of activities that spans four seasons. Celebrities, dignitaries, business leaders, and luminaries of all varieties have prized Sun Valley for its hospitality, elegance, world-class sports facilities, and low-key atmosphere. Bald Mountain and its sister slope, Dollar Mountain, have been lauded for consistent slope, well-groomed runs, and total lack of crowds.

SVSA athletes enjoy all of this as well. From hiking in the Sawtooth Mountains to biking world-renowned single track; from enjoying lectures by famous authors to taking in the latest concert; from learning how to cast a fly fishing rod to whitewater rafting one of our local rivers, Sun Valley is one vast playground. Parents visiting their SVSA students are amazed by this spectacular place. After taking their son or daughter (and probably a few friends) out to a top-notch dinner in Ketchum and enjoying a walk through the woods, families with students at SVSA will make Sun Valley their number one vacation destination.
